Thanks to everyone who participated in reading Peace Breaks Out, the last of this series set during World War II. Those who participated were

The next book is Private Enterprise. I’ll be posting my review on Friday, September 30. Now, we’re getting into new waters, because I think that of the rest of the novels, I have only read one or two. I hope some of you will read along occasionally.
And here’s our badge.

Very disappointed that I have not kept up in the last couple of months and unfortunately will not be joining you for Private Enterprise. Very expensive here and considered rare in my online bookstore through which I normally have success in procuring older titles. On the other hand this break will give me a chance to catch up on the last two titles! I’ll look forward to your review and keep looking for an affordable copy. Thanks!
That’s too bad, Penelope. I was able to get all of them to the end, but I bought them last year. I’ll look forward to your comments on the last two.
You’re going past me now, thank you for including me in your links up to now and good luck with the last ones; I’ll read your reviews with interest.
Thanks for participating! If you care to make comments going further, I’ll at least list you in the discussion.
Am reading Private Enterprise now. . .I’ve only just started, but thirkell seems to be back on track. Of course, since the novel opens with Lydia and Noel Merton, it takes the reader back to earlier, happier memories.
Looking forward to finishing the series. I tried the “original” Barsetshire books by Anthony Trollope, but not my cup of tea. . .
Sue
I’m so glad you’re keeping going with this.
