The Classics Club is beginning its 41st spin event this week. If you are a member and want to participate, just post a choice of 20 books from your Classics Club list in a numbered list before Sunday, June 15. You can duplicate some, especially if you don’t have 20 books left to read, like me.
The Classics Club will announce a number on Sunday, and that’s the number of the book you should read from your list. The idea is to try to read that book before the 24th of August and post a review.
If you are not yet a Classics Club member and would like to participate, all you need to do is post a list of books you want to read, most people post 50-100 books, and a deadline by which you would like to have them read. Submit that list to the Classics Club, and you’re signed up! Then post your list of 20 for the spin.

What? Me Read? 
I’ve only read Les Miserables, and it took me ages! I haven’t read anything by Frances Burney yet but think she’s someone I should read. Good luck, hope you get a fun one!
Yes, I am worried I’ll get that one. It’ll be bad timing. Frances Burney’s books tend to be long, too. I don’t think I have very many short ones left on my list.
I loved Our Mutual Friend and The Three Musketeers. Is there anything you’re particularly hoping for?
Right now, I’m still in the position of hoping for something short, but I hardly have any short works on my list anymore. Once I get caught up in my reading, which got pushed way back when I was trying to finish A Century of Books, I will like to read long books again.
I’ve only read Our Mutual Friend and Les Misérables, so I’m very definitely hoping you get Our Mutual Friend! 😉

Great list.. it must feel good to be nearing the end of the list. But unlike you, I have already created my next 2 lists… lol.. And I still have more than 40 to go on this one 😀
